Privacy policy

This policy describes how Stake Palms (“we”) handles information on https://stakepalms.com. We are an independent affiliate site, not Stake.us.

What we collect

• Tracking clicks. When you visit a /r/ link we store campaign id, a random visitor cookie, hashed IP, user-agent, referrer, UTM parameters, coarse geo (country / region / city from the host), and whether the click was blocked.
• Age cookie. A first-party cookie records that you confirmed you are 21+.
• Analytics. If PostHog is configured, we collect pageviews and outbound-click events.
• Admin session. A signed cookie after you enter the admin password. No public accounts.

What we do not do

• We do not store raw IP addresses — only a salted hash.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not run Stake.com tracking for US visitors.

Why we collect it

To operate referral attribution, keep restricted traffic off outbound Stake.us links, measure campaign performance, secure the admin area, and improve the site. Legal bases include legitimate interests and, where required, consent (age gate / analytics).

Cookies

Essential cookies: sp_vid (visitor id), sp_camp (campaign slug), sp_age (age confirmation), plus an httpOnly admin session cookie. Analytics cookies load only when a PostHog key is present.

Retention

Click logs are kept so we can attribute later conversions if postbacks become available. You can ask us to delete visitor records we can reasonably identify by emailing hello@stakepalms.com.

California / state privacy notices

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA. Florida residents may email the same address for access or deletion requests.

Third parties

Neon/Vercel Postgres (database), Vercel (hosting and geo headers), PostHog (optional analytics), and Stake.us (if you choose to leave through an affiliate link). Their policies apply once you leave this site.
